Amok

Amok is a popular Cambodian dish that every person is bound to try when they visit this country. It consists of fish (or chicken), peanuts, lime leaves, chilli, coconut milk, lemongrass and eggs and is served with rice.
As with most Asian countries, the staple food of Cambodia is rice.
I find the lemongrass taste a little overpowering and the coconut makes it very rich. It is quite an interesting dish! It also makes me wonder why Cambodian people are not fat...
